Consult on and manage accurate payroll processing including active payroll, final settlements, compliance, and payroll regulatory risk mitigation for large volume operations.
Supervise and guide entry to mid-level payroll staff to ensure timely, quality, and compliant payroll operations, while supporting system implementations and process improvements.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve payroll issues, prepare MIS reports, and maintain alignment with legal and banking controls, audit, and compliance requirements.
4+ years of experience in HR Operations, Accounting, Payroll, Payroll Tax, or equivalent (via work experience, training, military experience, or education).
University degree in Business or related discipline.
Experience in India End-to-End Payroll Operations including final settlements and statutory compliance (Income Tax, PF, PT, ESIC, LWF, NPS, Gratuity, Stat bonus, etc.).
Experience with payroll systems such as SAP/Global View Payroll Administration and ERP tools like Workday, PeopleSoft, ServiceNow, ADP Global View.
Demonstrated expertise managing complex payroll operations including statutory compliance and internal/external audits, preferably in banking or financial services.
Experience supervising and mentoring mid-level payroll professionals and guiding payroll system configurations and UATs.
Strong understanding of banking controls, compliance risk environment, and financial reconciliation processes within payroll operations.
