Investigate, respond to, and remediate security alerts and incidents, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Lead and coordinate incident response efforts with cross-functional teams to contain threats effectively.
Improve detection and response processes via automation, runbook development, and integration of threat intelligence.
1–3 years of experience in a SOC, incident response, IT security operations, or related role.
Experience with at least one security tool such as SIEM, EDR/XDR, secure email gateway, or cloud security tools (e.g., M365 Defender, Sentinel, Splunk, CrowdStrike).
Familiarity with core investigation concepts including event correlation, MITRE ATT&CK framework, malware/TTPs, phishing indicators.
Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, VPN) and Windows/Linux OS basics; ability to operate in a ticket-driven environment with SLAs and MSSP handoffs.
Candidates with a methodical, analytical approach focused on continuous improvement and process rigor in security operations.
Experience or exposure to manufacturing/OT environments and familiarity with ICS/SCADA concepts is a plus.
Comfortable working with automation tools, SOAR workflows, scripting (PowerShell, Python, KQL), and integrating identity and cloud security concepts.
