Accountable for end-to-end verification and validation of Motor Control Unit (MCU) systems using bench, HIL/SIL, inverter test rigs, dyno, and vehicle-level setups.
Create and maintain system test strategies, plans, and matrices aligned with product requirements to ensure coverage across operating modes and environmental conditions.
Develop, automate, and execute test suites including regression tests using scripting (Python/CAPL/MATLAB) and manage test artifacts for MCU functions such as torque/speed control, mode transitions, and protection behaviors.
3 to 8+ years of experience in system testing/validation of embedded ECUs, preferably automotive or industrial domain.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics, Embedded Systems, Mechatronics, or related field.
Hands-on experience with at least one HIL platform (dSPACE, NI, Vector) or bench testing involving inverter, motor setups, and associated measurement equipment.
Knowledge of automotive network protocols (CAN/LIN/Ethernet), diagnostics (UDS), and tools like CANoe or CANalyzer.
Experienced in automotive embedded system testing with thorough understanding of Motor Control systems and inverter basics (PMSM/BLDC/IM helpful).
Proficient in test design, automation scripting, and managing multi-integration tasks across vehicle programs.
Detail-oriented engineer capable of cross-functional collaboration focusing on performance, reliability, safety, and electrical/electronic system validation.
