Senior Associate | Trade Settlement Operations

Support trade confirmation, affirmation, settlement, and post-trade oversight across multiple asset classes.

Collaborate with brokers, counterparties, custodians, fund administrators, investment teams, and internal stakeholders to resolve trade exceptions and manage settlement risks.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives as the Gurugram team expands to support global middle office operations.

Tertiary qualification in finance, accounting, business, economics or related discipline.

Relevant experience in investment operations, trade support, middle office, custody or asset management.

Strong knowledge of trade lifecycle including trade capture, matching, confirmation, affirmation, allocation, settlement, fails management, and post-settlement reconciliation.

Working knowledge of at least one asset class such as fixed income, equities, derivatives or foreign exchange and related global settlement conventions.

Experienced in investigating and resolving trade exceptions, settlement fails, cash/stock breaks, unmatched trades, and reconciliation differences with appropriate risk escalation.

Familiar with relevant systems and market utilities like BlackRock Aladdin, DTCC CTM, DTCC ALERT, Markit Wire, GTSS, Bloomberg, SWIFT, and custodian portals.

Able to operate effectively in a global, high-performing middle office environment with focus on operational accuracy and risk management.
