Map and document enterprise application dependencies and maintain disaster recovery (DR) plans, runbooks, and recovery procedures across production and DR/cloud environments.
Plan, coordinate, execute, and report on DR drills (mock test and live), including managing the DR drill calendar and communicating schedules to stakeholders.
Ensure compliance and security standards in DR environments, conduct root cause analysis on DR incidents, and engage with customer teams providing subject matter expertise and executive briefings.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering (BE, BTech, MCA).
Experience with DR automation platforms such as KRO, KIRS, Ansible or similar.
Hands-on experience with UNIX and Windows platforms, virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix Xenapp), and scripting languages (shell, powershell, python, TCL, Bicep, Ansible Playbooks).
Strong understanding of enterprise application and infrastructure architectures, data protection technologies, and IT incident, problem, change management processes.
Experienced in managing enterprise-level DR and business continuity standards with demonstrated ability to document and improve recovery objectives through automation.
Skilled in cross-functional coordination with application, infrastructure, and security teams in complex, hybrid cloud/on-premises environments.
Able to serve as a trusted advisor to senior customer executives, delivering technical briefings and subject matter expertise on DR practices and compliance.
