Serve as the first line of response for security alerts across Vultr’s global security operations, monitoring SIEM, threat, identity, and access alerts.
Acknowledge and triage security incidents within SLAs, execute runbook-based investigations and containment actions, and escalate complex cases to senior engineers.
Maintain accurate documentation and chain-of-custody for incidents, support 24x7 rotational shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
3–5 years experience in SOC, security operations, or IT operations with hands-on security monitoring and alert triage.
Graduate/Engineer degree (B.E./B.Tech or equivalent).
Working knowledge of security fundamentals, SIEM, alert triage, and incident management.
Willingness and ability to work rotational 24x7 shift model including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Experienced in frontline security operations with strong skills in alert triage, runbook execution, and incident escalation.
Comfortable working in a high-availability, 24x7 global command center environment with strict SLA adherence.
Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM, ITSM ticketing, and observability platforms, with ability to produce precise documentation and communication.
