Own and resolve escalated complex network incidents involving routing, switching, DNS, CDN, load balancing, and connectivity within SLAs.
Lead root-cause analysis and implement permanent fixes in partnership with engineering teams and providers to reduce recurrence.
Act as senior escalation point and technical lead during major incidents; mentor and author runbooks to improve team capability in a 24x7 rotational shift environment.
5-8 years of experience in network engineering, operations, or infrastructure with escalation and root-cause ownership experience.
Strong hands-on skills in routing and switching, BGP/OSPF, DNS, firewalls, load balancing, CDN, and network troubleshooting including packet capture and flow analysis.
Network automation/scripting experience (Python, Ansible, or equivalents) and familiarity with monitoring/observability and ITSM tools.
Willingness and ability to work rotational 24x7 shifts and on-call model including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Experienced at leading complex network incident diagnosis and permanent remediation in large-scale cloud or enterprise network environments.
Comfortable working in a high-pressure, 24x7 global network operations center (NOC) or command center setting.
Skilled in mentoring junior engineers and improving team capability through documentation, runbooks, and knowledge transfer.
