Monitor Vultr's global network health signals such as routing, DNS, CDN, links, latency, and packet loss via a consolidated dashboard to detect issues.
Acknowledge and triage alerts within predefined SLAs, execute documented runbooks to resolve common connectivity issues, and escalate unresolved problems to Senior Network Engineers.
Maintain accurate incident documentation, classify incidents by severity, communicate status to stakeholders, and contribute to continuous improvement of runbooks and alert tuning.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant field (B.E., B.Tech, or equivalent).
3–5 years of experience in network operations, NOC, or IT operations with hands-on network monitoring and troubleshooting.
Working knowledge of TCP/IP, routing and switching, DNS, firewalls, load balancing, CDN, and network troubleshooting tools (ping, traceroute, packet capture).
Willingness and ability to work rotational 24x7 shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays; proficient English communication skills.
Experience in 24x7 NOC or command center environments with familiarity in incident management and severity-based triage.
Comfortable operating with monitoring/observability tools, ticketing systems (e.g., JIRA, PagerDuty), and handling escalation workflows clearly.
Technical aptitude for running and improving documented runbooks and incident handling processes, with some exposure to automation scripting (Bash, Python, PowerShell) preferred.
