Manage JAPAC region finance and administration activities including financial close, controls, cash-flow forecasting, and reporting accuracy.
Act as key liaison among Amgen India, JAPAC finance teams, and local stakeholders to coordinate daily F&A deliverables and audit/statutory support.
Drive process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement while maintaining strong financial controls and compliance.
Must be a Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant, or hold a Master’s in Finance or Business Administration.
8 to 12 years of accounting and/or finance experience.
Experience supporting financial close, accruals, journal entries, cash-flow forecasts, reconciliations, and audit in a corporate environment.
Pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry experience preferred but not mandatory.
Proven ability to collaborate across functions and multiple geographies in a matrixed global organization.
Strong skills in financial systems (SAP, Hyperion, Excel, Power BI, etc.) and familiarity with US GAAP, local GAAP, and statutory requirements.
Experienced in managing senior stakeholder relationships and translating financial data into strategic insights.
