Lead and manage end-to-end production editorial workflow for front list titles and journal content ensuring on-time delivery, quality standards, and budget adherence.
Own project cost estimates and budget management for books and journal programs, contributing to P&L planning and gross margin computation.
Coordinate with authors, editors, publishing managers, and vendors to resolve queries, maintain schedules, and supervise production activities including copyediting and quality control.
Minimum 8 years of experience, preferably in the STM publishing sector.
Postgraduate degree required.
Strong copyediting and language editing skills with knowledge of referencing styles.
Project and team management experience mandatory.
Experienced in managing complex production editorial workflows with multiple stakeholders and vendors.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office tools; knowledge of STM print and digital publishing technologies such as XML/HTML workflows and content management systems is advantageous.
Ability to control costs and manage budgets aligned with publishing revenue and gross margin goals.
