Design, develop, and automate cloud database platforms using infrastructure as code and automation tooling.
Provide technical oversight and architecture guidance for database engineering and automation projects.
Implement and support database operations automation, migration, monitoring, and logging across various database technologies and cloud environments.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum 8+ years of experience in systems automation on database platforms with deep expertise in at least one database technology.
3+ years of experience with Public Cloud AWS RDS including configuration and support of mission-critical, highly available databases.
Expert knowledge of Linux/Unix/Windows systems with 5+ years as Senior DBA or Database Automation Engineer.
Bachelor's Degree; Must be available for meetings between 06:00 AM – 11:30 AM US Eastern Time.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Hands-on experience in designing, configuring, and automating mission-critical, high-throughput databases in cloud environments, especially AWS.
Experienced in scripting and automation using Terraform, Python, Shell, and managing cloud infrastructure and deployments.
Ability to lead technical projects with cross-functional coordination and apply best practices for production support and automation in a 24x7 environment.
