Lead Site Reliability Engineer + AWS

Lead design reviews and technical initiatives to enhance reliability and stability of applications and platforms within the Commercial & Investment Bank's Global Banking Technology team.

Act as a technical lead for medium to large-sized products, breaking down complex problems and mentoring engineers.

Manage major incident response for assigned applications, using data-driven analytics and enterprise AI tools to improve incident triage and post-incident analysis.

5+ years of applied experience with formal training or certification in Site Reliability Engineering concepts.

Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java or Python, and experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Terraform).

Experience with observability and monitoring tools like Grafana, Prometheus, Dynatrace, Datadog, Splunk, and container orchestration technologies (ECS, Kubernetes, Docker).

Strong expertise in reliability, scalability, performance, security, and enterprise system architecture; Work Experience Required: 5+ years.

Demonstrates strong technical leadership and the ability to drive reliability improvements and influence across teams using data-driven and AI-assisted approaches.

Experienced in implementing and overseeing SRE best practices including automation, root cause analysis, and security controls within large-scale enterprise environments.

Capable of collaborating with diverse stakeholders and mentoring engineers while managing high-impact incidents to minimize financial risks.
