Lead implementation and adoption of enterprise AI governance and Responsible AI standards at Amgen India site.
Partner with product, engineering, data science, and innovation teams to embed Responsible AI into the innovation ecosystem by identifying governance needs and risks early.
Serve as a trusted advisor and point of contact for AI governance, coordinate with Quality, Security, Privacy, Legal teams, and represent Responsible AI in forums and events.
Minimum Requirements
8-13 years of experience in AI/ML, AI product development, data science, AI governance, technology risk, compliance, or related fields.
Working knowledge of modern AI systems including generative AI and AI development lifecycle.
Understanding of Responsible AI, AI governance, AI risk management, and regulatory frameworks like NIST AI Risk Management Framework and EU AI Act concepts.
Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills; able to influence without direct authority.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in managing complex, cross-functional projects in matrixed organizations, especially relating to AI governance and policy translation to practical delivery.
Comfortable working across global and local teams with ability to prioritize, escalate, and engage specialist partners effectively.
Has technical understanding to credibly engage with product, engineering, data science teams on AI systems, risk, and governance implementation.
