Engineering Manager - Marketplace

Lead a cross-functional engineering team implementing and evolving content strategy into an AI-native model for automated copy generation and translation, reducing time-to-market and costs.

Own governance frameworks ensuring trustworthy output covering compliance, accuracy, brand consistency, and evaluation of AI-generated content.

Align and collaborate with diverse stakeholders including UX, product, engineering, localization, experimentation, legal, and senior leaders to ensure roadmap delivery and transparency.

8+ years of experience building enterprise software products; previous developer experience preferred.

At least 1 year in a dedicated Engineering Manager role (not temporary or caretaker).

Technical proficiency to read, understand, and refactor code using design patterns and testing strategies to maintain quality and security standards.

Knowledge of architecture evaluation considering cost, business and technology requirements, with understanding of system infrastructure and architecture impacts.

Experienced manager capable of coaching and developing software engineers, managing team performance, and handling recruitment and stakeholder communication proactively.

Strategically oriented in system ownership including monitoring application health, reducing operational risk, and improving reliability through incident management and postmortems.

Able to influence technical and architectural decisions pragmatically aligning with broader enterprise architecture and applying engineering techniques to accelerate development.
