Develop and maintain end-to-end features for an internal Configure-Price-Quote (CPQ) platform using React/TypeScript, Django/Python, and PostgreSQL.
Ensure consistency and correctness of pricing logic and business rules across front-end instant calculations and back-end authoritative logic.
Collaborate with commercial finance and business stakeholders to translate business rules into testable logic, own shared rule definitions, tests, and validation workflows.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
5+ years IT experience; minimum 3 years specifically in Django and Python with REST API development.
Experience with PostgreSQL and relational data modeling.
Proven skills in code reviews, technical walkthroughs, legacy code reverse engineering, and production migration.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced full-stack developer fluent in React/TypeScript, Django/Python, and database design focused on finance or CPQ domains.
Skilled at maintaining cross-language business logic consistency and involved in architectural decisions concerning state and pricing workflows.
Comfortable working in hybrid waterfall and agile/scrum environments, proactive and able to rapidly understand and reverse engineer legacy systems.
