Software Engineer III, Spark Developer

Designs, develops, and delivers secure, high-quality software solutions using Spark (Java/Python) and cloud technologies, ensuring operational stability and adherence to design constraints.

Analyzes and visualizes large, diverse data sets to identify problems and drive improvements in coding hygiene and system architecture.

Leverages enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools to enhance code quality, delivery speed, and team productivity while validating AI outputs rigorously.

3+ years of applied software engineering experience with formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.

Hands-on experience with Spark (Java/Python) and AWS technologies including EKS/ECS and Terraform.

Proficiency in coding with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages in a large corporate environment.

Practical experience using AI-assisted software development tools with ability to critically evaluate AI-generated outputs for correctness, performance, and security.

Experienced in system design, development, testing, and maintaining application operational stability in agile environments with CI/CD and security focus.

Demonstrates strong expertise in Spark, AWS cloud infrastructure, and enterprise software development toolchains including responsible AI workflows.

Capable of producing architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and driving continuous improvement through data-driven insights.
