Technical Product Manager

Own the definition, prioritization, and delivery of technology solutions for Morningstar’s Indexes applications and platforms.

Translate business objectives and user needs into detailed requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.

Collaborate across product, engineering, QA, and business stakeholders to ensure solution delivery meets functional, scalability, and timeline goals.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Finance, or related discipline.

Minimum 3 years experience in product management, business analysis, technology delivery, or software solutions, preferably in financial services or data-driven technology environments.

Strong experience with Agile delivery practices including backlog management and sprint planning.

Working knowledge of APIs, databases, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS), modern app architecture, and hands-on SQL/data analysis skills.

Experienced in bridging business and technical teams in a data-driven or financial services context.

Comfortable analyzing complex workflows and making data-driven, scalable product decisions.

Able to manage products in agile environments with strong understanding of technology architecture and operational processes.
