Own end-to-end user support, triage, and debugging of complex EDA environment, configuration, and software integration issues within Physical Design workflows.
Drive adoption, usability, and reliability of internal GenAI/Agentic AI tools and platforms by acting as a bridge between Physical Design Engineers/CAD teams and Software/Systems Engineering.
Develop and maintain functional specifications, test strategies, automated validation, and telemetry integration to improve tool performance and scalability.
9-12 years of experience in Applications Engineering / Customer Engineering, preferably in Physical Design (PNR/Floor planning).
Strong domain knowledge in VLSI / Physical Design / EDA workflows.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field with 4+ years of relevant experience, or higher qualifications with proportionally less experience.
Strong Python and Linux scripting skills with proven expertise in triaging and debugging complex software and tool issues.
Experienced in Physical Design and EDA toolchains with deep hands-on debugging and triage skills in complex workflows involving AI/GenAI agent systems.
Able to independently manage and improve end-to-end workflows including AI agent orchestration and non-deterministic system behaviors.
Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally to translate user requirements into actionable engineering inputs and to enhance observability, debuggability, and system stability.
