Program Manager - Weather Initiatives

Lead and manage large-scale dissemination of digital weather forecasts to smallholder farmers, focusing on strategic embedding into government systems in Bihar.

Coordinate cross-functional teams including product, agronomy, research, and communications through co-design, implementation, and scaling of digital advisory services.

Engage with government stakeholders and partners to ensure program alignment, sustainability, and evidence-based impact, including managing work plans, budgets, and operational execution.

At least 5 years of experience in strategy, program management, or implementation, preferably in public sector program initiatives.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in public policy, agriculture, economics, business, development studies, or related field.

Fluency in English and Hindi; knowledge of other Indian languages is a plus.

Current and ongoing work authorization in India; location primarily in Patna, Bihar with flexibility for program expansion.

Experienced in managing complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives in public sector or government-linked environments, especially in program scaling and partnerships.

Strong strategic and operational management skills with ability to drive adaptive learning, evidence-based improvements, and sustainability in dynamic contexts.

Comfortable with data-driven decision making, working closely with research teams, and communicating effectively across government, technical, and farmer audiences.
