Build, configure, and operate a unified knowledge graph abstraction layer over multiple graph database instances for internal adoption.
Manage both cloud-managed (Neo4j Aura via Azure Marketplace) and self-managed graph database deployments on Azure, including provisioning and security.
Develop middleware APIs, automate data loading and backup routines, optimize query performance, and maintain system health metrics like availability and latency.
Minimum Requirements
5-10 years of hands-on experience in graph databases and backend software engineering.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related discipline.
Strong experience with Neo4j (Enterprise, Cypher, Causal Clustering) and Microsoft Azure services (Marketplace, AKS, VMs, Key Vault).
Proficiency in programming or scripting languages such as Python, Go, or Java, and familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Bicep.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Strong execution focus with hands-on experience managing both cloud-managed DBaaS and self-hosted graph database deployments on Azure.
Experience in building API/middleware layers to abstract database topologies and implementing multi-tenant security features.
Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-pressure environments with a proactive, problem-solving orientation toward performance optimization and system monitoring.
