Senior Manager, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)

Lead and grow a Site Reliability Engineering team responsible for the availability, performance, scalability, and operational excellence of a global payments platform.

Define and drive reliability strategy including SLIs/SLOs/error budgets, incident management, capacity planning, and production readiness for high-volume financial systems.

Collaborate closely with product engineering, security, and infrastructure teams to embed reliability and compliance practices across all stages of software development and operations.

10+ years in software engineering, infrastructure, or SRE with 4+ years in management or technical leadership of SRE/DevOps/Infrastructure teams.

Experience operating and scaling production systems for high-availability, transaction-heavy platforms; fintech/payments/banking experience strongly preferred.

Hands-on expertise with AWS cloud, Kubernetes, container orchestration, infrastructure-as-code (Terraform or CloudFormation).

Proficient in observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK/OpenSearch) and operationalizing SLOs/error budgets; familiarity with PCI-DSS, SOC 2, ISO 27001 compliance frameworks.

Senior engineering leader with deep expertise in high-availability distributed financial services platforms and scaling global infrastructure.

Strong operator capable of leading major incident response, embedding reliability in engineering lifecycle, and collaborating cross-functionally including with security and compliance teams.

Experienced in metrics-driven decision making, promoting automation, and aligning technical risk with business objectives at executive levels.
