About This Role
- Develop and maintain core storage system components including data path, metadata, protocols, and management services.
- Design and implement scalable distributed storage features emphasizing performance and reliability for HPC and AI workloads.
- Debug complex system-level issues across software, firmware, and hardware, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to impact system performance and scalability.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
- Typically 4-6 years of relevant experience.
- Strong programming skills in C/C++ and experience with Linux/Unix system-level development.
- Onsite work location at an HPE office (onsite requirement).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience with distributed systems, parallel computing concepts, and storage technologies (file systems, block or object storage).
- Familiarity with HPC storage systems such as Lustre and performance tuning in large-scale distributed environments.
- Ability to work collaboratively across global engineering teams on core HPC storage products impacting system reliability and scalability.
