Lead software design and development for 5G-NR Distributed Unit (DU) Layer 2 Scheduler (MAC Scheduler-L2).
Handle analysis and resolution of customer issues using logs including development and Wireshark logs.
Create design documents and manage scrum backlog items; provide mentorship to engineering team members.
Minimum Requirements
8-12 years of experience with software design and development in RAN 5G-NR DU Layer 2 (Scheduler, RLC, MAC, FAPI).
Proficiency in C/C++ and experience with software testing, debugging, and deployment in cloud-native/virtualized environments.
Knowledge of one or more RAN protocols: RLC, MAC, PHY, RRC, or PDCP.
Location: Bangalore only; visa sponsorship not provided; relocation support available.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Strong expertise specifically in 5G NR DU Layer 2 Scheduler and associated protocols (MAC, RLC, etc.).
Experience working in agile environments including authoring design documents and grooming scrum user stories.
Tech savvy with proficiency in leveraging AI tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Windsurf, Claude) for development and debugging.
