Manage and support enterprise storage systems including SAN, NAS, and Object Storage architectures with hands-on experience in HPE XP8 or Hitachi 5600 storage.
Lead design, implementation, and troubleshooting of SAN switch zoning, fabric topologies, and high availability architectures using Brocade, Cisco MDS or equivalent.
Coordinate with OEMs, perform capacity planning, data migration, data replication and assist L1 & L2 support teams for backup, recovery, and monitoring activities.
Minimum 7 years of experience managing storage systems.
Must have advanced storage and SAN switch OEM certifications.
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Electronics & Communications or related field (B.Tech/B.E./BCA/MCA).
Role requires working onsite primarily at HPE partner/customer location.
Experienced in handling enterprise level storage technologies including backup, recovery, and performance tuning.
Skilled in networking and SAN switch firmware/compliance management with collaborative experience across multiple IT teams.
Capable of operational ownership of storage infrastructure including planning, execution, monitoring and vendor coordination in complex hybrid IT environments.
