Manage and support multiple database platforms including Oracle, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL on VMs and cloud-managed services (AWS RDS/Aurora, OCI).
Ensure database performance tuning, maintenance, backups, patching, and troubleshooting to prevent or minimize customer outages.
Develop and maintain SOPs, dashboards, and processes for large databases (15+ TB) and support development teams and projects.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
3-5 years of DBA experience with Microsoft SQL and/or Oracle databases.
Experience working with multiple cloud platforms such as AWS, OCI, and Azure is implied but not strictly mandated.
Flexibility for after-hours and weekend work including participation in 24x7 on-call rotation.
Experienced in managing very large database environments and multiple database types across cloud and on-premises platforms.
Capable of handling operational responsibilities including performance tuning, patching, monitoring, and creating documentation/SOPs.
Comfortable working with AI tools and integrating modern monitoring technologies to innovate and standardize database operations.
