Design, build, and execute performance (load, stress, spike, endurance, scalability) and reliability tests for critical web applications and APIs.
Develop and maintain performance test scripts using Apache JMeter and manage distributed test runs using BlazeMeter.
Automate UI workflows with Playwright and integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines while monitoring system metrics using Grafana and similar tools.
Minimum Requirements
3+ years of applied software engineering experience with formal training or certification.
Hands-on experience with Apache JMeter, BlazeMeter, Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript), and Grafana for performance testing and monitoring.
Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, Python, or C#.
Experience with containerized/cloud environments (Docker, Kubernetes) and performance monitoring tools (Prometheus, Splunk, ELK, Dynatrace, AppDynamics).
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced performance test engineer with strong skills in scripting, distributed test execution, and integrating automation into CI/CD.
Practitioner of AI-assisted software development tools with ability to critically validate AI-generated outputs for code quality and security.
Strong understanding of performance engineering metrics and ability to correlate test results with infrastructure and application bottlenecks.
