Lead Software Engineer - Platform Test

Lead design, development, and integration of platform software for networking systems, including chassis, line-card services, Ethernet interfaces, and optics.

Own architecture and end-to-end delivery within Junos or Junos Evolved, defining hardware-software interfaces and integrating across the networking software stack.

Drive quality standards, partner with test and support teams to own root-cause analysis and platform hardening for customer experience.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.

10-15 years of relevant software systems design and development experience.

Must be willing to work onsite primarily from an HPE office in India.

Experience with networking platform software, including knowledge of 100G/400G/800G optics and scripting/automation (e.g., Python, pytest, Robot Framework).

Experienced in leading multiple project teams involving internal and outsourced developers across software lifecycle stages.

Strong background in architecture and system design for complex networking software platforms, particularly with Junos or Junos Evolved environments.

Skilled at collaborating with testing and support teams to improve product reliability and performance in live customer environments.
