Software Engineer - II - Windows Systems

Analyze telemetry and trace data to identify software and hardware behavior patterns and their impact at scale.

Diagnose system issues using low-level debugging and performance-analysis tools and collaborate on complex investigations.

Design and implement system-level optimizations focusing on performance, reliability, and maintainability in the Windows device ecosystem.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field with 4+ years of technical engineering experience coding in languages like C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, OR equivalent experience.

1+ years of experience in systems analysis, debugging, or performance engineering.

Experience with operating systems, system-level development, or performance engineering including knowledge of Windows internals, performance analysis, reliability engineering, or power optimization.

Experience with telemetry, statistical analysis, experimentation, or cloud data platforms such as Azure.

Engineer comfortable navigating ambiguous and partially defined technical problems independently using data-driven decisions.

Experienced in cross-boundary investigation across hardware, firmware, operating system, and application layers.

Able to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external OEM and hardware partners to implement solutions in a complex ecosystem.
