Technical Program Manager II - Engineering

Own and manage day-to-day execution for an engineering pod including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives in partnership with Product and Engineering leads.

Maintain accurate tracking of the pod's work progress and produce clear, regular status reports for pod leadership and senior management, highlighting risks early.

Develop and drive key metrics (delivery predictability, sprint coverage, spillover, backlog health, cycle time) and improve processes including spec-driven development and tooling enhancements across the engineering organization.

3–5 years experience as a Technical Program Manager for software engineering teams.

Technical fluency with deep understanding of system architecture, software development lifecycle, and familiarity with ML/AI system components.

Fluent with data and metrics tools (e.g., Jira) and demonstrated ability to maintain a clean backlog as single source of truth.

Excellent written communication skills to provide clear updates for engineers and executives.

Experienced in navigating complex AI/ML system projects including understanding models, data pipelines, and production concerns.

Strong judgment and autonomy to operate in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment while knowing when to escalate or standardize processes.

Ability to influence senior leadership with data-driven narratives and contribute to designing scalable operating models across multiple teams.
