About This Role

Lead end-to-end engineering activities for railway signalling systems and software, including requirements, architecture, design, integration, V&V, and commissioning.

Provide technical leadership and SME expertise in safety-critical signalling projects, ensuring compliance with railway standards and customer specifications.

Drive system-to-software integration, lead technical discussions with stakeholders and customers, and mentor engineering teams in signalling and software engineering best practices.

Minimum Requirements

15+ years of experience in railway signalling systems and software engineering.

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.

Strong expertise in railway safety-critical systems including Interlocking, ETCS, CBTC, ATP, and ATO.

Proven experience as a technical SME or technical lead on railway signalling projects.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Experienced in working with major railway OEMs (e.g., Alstom, Siemens Mobility, Hitachi Rail, Thales, Wabtec).

Skilled in technical leadership, customer-facing roles, and stakeholder management for complex signalling projects.

Proficient in safety-critical software lifecycle standards (EN 50128 and related), development tools (IBM DOORS, Polarian, Jira), and managing distributed/global engineering teams.
