Define and develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate SSD firmware for Micron NAND based systems, covering functional, system, and customer qualification tests.
Collaborate with hyperscale/datacenter customers throughout the product life cycle to improve product quality and reduce cycle time of SSD products.
Communicate program status, issues, and strategies effectively; integrate tests into automated environments and drive issue resolution with product development teams.
8-14 years of experience in Embedded firmware or 8+ years in SSD Product Validation.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
Hands-on experience debugging NVMe Protocol issues using Lecroy/JDSU analyzers.
Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux OS debugging, Python coding, NVMe/PCIe specifications, and system storage components (CPU, Memory, PCIe, drivers, OS, firmware).
Experienced in validating SSD firmware using UNH and PCIe-CV test suites and working with IO workloads, NVMe protocols, Flash Translation Layer, and NAND media management.
Ability to work directly with datacenter compute and storage solutions such as Microsoft Hyper-V and VMware vSphere/VSAN is a strong plus.
Skilled in planning, tracking, and project management, with strong analytical and debugging capabilities, leveraging AI tools for code generation and root cause analysis.
