Embedded Software Engineer

Develop and maintain reusable low-level embedded firmware modules in C/C++ focusing on portability, maintainability, performance, and functional safety.

Translate stakeholder requirements into clear software requirements and integrate solutions into tool projects with debugging on target hardware.

Create and maintain unit and integration tests (including Hardware-in-the-Loop) and support continuous integration processes.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in electronics, mechatronics, software engineering, computer science, or relevant disciplines.

Minimum 2 years of professional experience in embedded software development.

Proficient in embedded C (and/or C++), MCU fundamentals (memory, interrupts, peripherals), and basics of Git with disciplined code reviews.

Experience with CI, unit test frameworks, and exposure to Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) or Software-in-the-Loop (SiL) testing.

Experienced in agile software development environments using modern practices like test-driven development and continuous integration.

Comfortable working collaboratively with software architects and global teams in a research & development setting focused on embedded platform libraries.

Skilled at producing maintainable, high-quality embedded software components for hardware with a focus on functional safety.
