Own the design, implementation, simulation, testing, and commissioning of control software for STATCOM/SVC power system projects.
Lead technical work packages and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities from requirements through commissioning.
Provide technical mentorship and lead troubleshooting, testing, and customer support activities to ensure successful delivery of complex power system control solutions.
Minimum Requirements
10-15 years experience in FACTS/HVDC projects and power system control software development.
MSc/MTech or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Power Electronics, Control Engineering, or equivalent.
Strong hands-on expertise in MATLAB/Simulink, PSCAD, and RTDS real-time testing for control algorithm development and validation.
Availability to travel internationally for project testing, commissioning, and customer support.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced leader capable of managing technical delivery and coordinating multidisciplinary teams in complex power system projects.
Deep domain expertise in control systems for grid-connected power electronic devices including FACTS, STATCOM, and SVC.
Proven track record in simulation-driven control development, RTDS testing, and commissioning of power electronic control systems in international, project-driven environments.
