Develop and implement control algorithms for STATCOM and FACTS applications, including voltage, reactive power, current control, and fault ride through.
Perform power system studies and dynamic simulations using tools like PSCAD, MATLAB Simulink, and conduct software testing including offline and real-time testing with RSCAD/RTDS.
Support Factory Acceptance Tests, site commissioning, troubleshooting, and collaborate with multidisciplinary global teams on FACTS projects.
2 to 6 years of relevant experience in Substation/FACTS/HVDC projects, with at least 2 years specifically on STATCOM/FACTS/HVDC.
BTech or MTech degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably Power System specialization.
Experience with utility scale grid integration and EHV substations preferred but not mandatory.
Location: Position based in Noida, India with hybrid working flexibility.
Experienced in control system design and testing within FACTS/STATCOM domain and comfortable using PSCAD, MATLAB Simulink, RSCAD/RTDS for simulations and validations.
Demonstrates strong ownership and prioritization skills managing multiple international high-profile projects and collaborating across global teams.
Capable of supporting complex commissioning, factory tests, and troubleshooting with effective communication in a multicultural environment.
