About This Role

Lead design, implementation, and delivery of control system functions for STATCOM/SVC power system projects.

Coordinate technical activities and multidisciplinary teams from engineering through testing and commissioning.

Lead RTDS real-time testing, software development, troubleshooting, and provide technical mentorship to control software engineers.

Minimum Requirements

8-12 years experience in FACTS/HVDC projects.

MSc/MTech or higher in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Power Electronics, Control Engineering or equivalent.

Strong hands-on experience with MATLAB/Simulink, PSCAD, and RTDS testing for power system control applications.

Willingness to travel internationally for commissioning, testing, and customer meetings.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Experienced in leading complex software/control engineering projects involving STATCOM/SVC systems.

Strong expertise in power system dynamics, control theory, and power electronics related to grid-connected power electronics.

Capable of technical decision-making, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and supporting customer interactions during commissioning and testing phases.
