Data Scientist, Financial Analytics

Own and build internal tools and processes for financial and transactional data reconciliation to ensure accurate customer funds reporting.

Collaborate cross-functionally with Accounting, Compliance, Engineering, and Product teams to automate reporting and reconciliation solutions.

Maintain internal controls to prevent payment errors and compliance breaches, support audits, and improve data architecture including DBT pipelines.

Minimum 4 years of experience in Business Intelligence/Data Analytics within Finance, Accounting, or Compliance functions.

Expertise in SQL and familiarity with data warehousing and reporting tools like DBT, Snowflake, and Tableau.

Experience performing detailed data-intensive reconciliations with disparate datasets in financial or transactional contexts, preferably in e-commerce or payments.

Excellent verbal communication skills with proven ability to work cross-functionally and present to executive leadership.

Experienced in end-to-end financial data reconciliation and reporting automation in complex, regulated environments.

Operates effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced settings and capable of hands-on involvement across the data stack from engineering to strategic insights.

Strong cross-functional collaborator with demonstrated success translating complex analytical findings into actionable business decisions for leadership.
