Secure applications and platforms within customer environments by identifying and implementing security posture improvements aimed at reducing cyber-attack risks.
Support customers by reviewing security configurations, recommending best practices, and facilitating adoption of Sophos Managed Detection and Response (MDR) services.
Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver high-quality customer outcomes, including incident response, remediation tracking, and service adoption support.
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
1-2 years relevant experience preferred in cybersecurity, information security, technical support, managed services, or IT operations; not strictly mandatory.
Willingness to work outside standard business hours (including weekends and holidays) to support 24x7x365 MDR service.
Strong verbal and written communication skills required; must manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality customer outcomes.
Has foundational knowledge of core cybersecurity concepts and network fundamentals including TCP/IP, routing, switching, and protocols.
Experienced or familiar with security technologies such as SIEM, EDR, XDR, vulnerability management, and security data analysis.
Able to analyze operational security data to identify risks, provide security best practice recommendations, and engage customers effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
