Application Engineering Director

Own and direct technology strategy, architecture, and engineering delivery for global enterprise-scale application and data platforms supporting post-trade operations.

Lead modernization initiatives improving platform resiliency, security, and operational excellence while balancing technical debt and delivery priorities.

Develop senior engineering talent and drive adoption of AI-enabled capabilities and automation within controlled risk standards.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Minimum 12 years of leadership experience in enterprise-scale software engineering environments.

Deep technical expertise in modern application architectures including microservices, APIs, distributed and event-driven systems.

Experience in regulated financial services environments and with large-scale application and data platform design and operation.

Strategic technology leader capable of translating business priorities into technical roadmaps and leading complex multi-team initiatives.

Experienced in balancing modernization with operational reliability and governance in critical, large-scale enterprise systems.

Comfortable driving AI integration and automation while managing risk and fostering engineering excellence and collaboration.
