Senior Financial Data Analyst

Manage routine financial data deliverables including portfolio review preparation, credit opinions, and outreach materials with some autonomy.

Apply Moody's credit rating methodologies to prepare adjusted data, key financial indicators, and visualizations for research and ratings accuracy.

Perform data intake, validation, and analysis of financial reports to support issuer creditworthiness assessment and ratings processes.

0-2 years experience in credit/financial data analysis, preferably with knowledge of capital markets; experience in structured finance is an advantage.

Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics, or qualified CA; CFA/FRM certification preferred but not mandatory.

Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel and strong English communication skills.

Basic understanding of AI concepts (Generative AI, Agentic AI) and interest in AI applications in finance; experience with Python, Power BI, or Alteryx is advantageous but not mandatory.

Early-career analyst comfortable working independently on routine financial data tasks with accountability for data quality and deliverables.

Analytical mindset with familiarity of credit risk factors and financial statements, capable of applying credit rating methodologies.

Interest in leveraging AI and data analytics tools to improve efficiency and data-driven decision making in credit analysis environments.
