Drive strategic sourcing and supplier development for Freight Components from India across multiple commodities such as Forging, Casting, Raw Materials, Electrical, and Electronics.
Manage end-to-end supplier performance including cost reduction, quality, delivery, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management for USD ~30M spend and 600+ parts.
Lead localization, import substitution, supplier risk management, and cross-functional initiatives to achieve YoY cost deflation and supply chain optimization.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering.
10-12 years of experience in strategic and global sourcing including supplier development.
Preferred but not mandatory: MBA in Supply Chain or EMBA; CPSM or equivalent certification.
Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Proven ability to manage high-value, complex global sourcing projects with measurable cost savings.
Experience working with cross-functional and global teams influencing suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Comfortable operating in highly structured, industrial manufacturing environments with a mix of long-term supplier contracts and localization initiatives.
