Engineering Manager I/II

Lead a small engineering team responsible for building and operating business-critical systems at scale with clear ownership and predictable delivery.

Guide and review technical decisions including high-level and low-level design, system reliability, and scalability for marketplace operations.

Own operational excellence including setting SLOs, managing incidents, ensuring production readiness, and partnering cross-functionally to solve real user problems.

8+ years overall engineering experience including prior experience managing or directly leading engineers.

Strong hands-on engineering background preferably in backend, platform, marketplace, or distributed systems.

Experience driving delivery across multiple projects and operating in fast-paced, high-ownership environments with systems at meaningful production scale.

Work Location: Head Office, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India (Permanent).

Experienced leader capable of converting ambiguous product/business goals into clear engineering plans with measurable outcomes.

Strong technical judgment in reviewing HLDs/LLDs, reasoning about APIs, service boundaries, scalability, reliability, and identifying design gaps before production.

Proven people leader with ability to coach, grow engineers, provide clear feedback, and build trust while driving team accountability and performance.
