Own end-to-end troubleshooting and resolution of customer issues related to Juniper switching platforms, isolating hardware/software problems and driving permanent fixes.
Replicate customer environments in lab, communicate effectively with customers and internal teams, and act as customer advocate for timely problem resolution.
Provide technical expertise during deployment and operations, mentor new engineers, and contribute to training, documentation, and new product projects.
Minimum Requirements
Must have a B.E. in Electronics/Engineering or Computer Science (or equivalent).
Minimum 5 years of experience in Networking Industry, with preference for 7+ years JUNOS experience or 5+ years troubleshooting datacenter or enterprise core networks.
In-depth knowledge of Layer 2 & Layer 3 networking protocols and technologies including IP routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, ISIS) and multicast protocols (IGMP, PIM).
Onsite work requirement at an HPE office with weekend and pager rotation coverage as per roster.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced individual contributor with deep expertise in Juniper switching platforms and datacenter network troubleshooting.
Capable of independently driving complex technical problem resolution and replicating customer networks in lab environments.
Skilled in customer communication and collaboration with internal teams including engineering and client management for issue resolution and training.
