Software Engineer - Networking

Design, develop, and deploy scalable networking software features for routers, switches, and cloud platforms focused on L2/L3 protocols including EVPN, Sflow, and IPFIX.

Troubleshoot complex customer deployment issues using debugging and core file analysis, ensuring high product quality and process adherence.

Lead technical efforts by mentoring junior engineers, conducting code reviews, and establishing engineering standards and best practices.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering (B.E/B.Tech) from a reputed institution.

6+ years of professional software development experience, preferably in networking products like routers and switches.

Strong proficiency in C/C++ or Python programming and deep networking knowledge (IP, Bridging, L2/L3 forwarding, Multicast, QoS, Filters).

Experience or familiarity with multi-core software architectures and DevOps practices including CI/CD, Kubernetes, and containerization.

Has a strong technical role with proven ability to deliver complex software projects on time and with high quality in networking environments.

Operates effectively in cross-functional teams to influence router/switch product architecture and deliver innovative solutions.

Possesses a solid understanding of product development lifecycle, computer architecture, data structures, and debugging complex system-level issues.
