6+ years experience designing and developing highly transactional, event-driven, concurrent systems; financial trading systems experience is a significant plus.
2+ years experience in cloud native application development (preferably Microsoft Azure), SpringBoot, Microservices, Kafka, and cloud databases; extensive RDBMS knowledge (Oracle, SQL Server) with ability to write complex and high-performance SQL.
Experienced in contributing independently to medium to large projects and capable of working with minimal supervision on complex tasks within front-office financial trading domain.
Technically strong in backend and middleware software engineering with good understanding of data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and clean code practices along with ability to influence architecture and design.
Familiar with Agile/Scrum development environment, able to mentor junior engineers, participate meaningfully in cross-team activities, and provide performance troubleshooting expertise.
