Develop, maintain, and execute automated and manual test frameworks; collaborate cross-functionally for requirement reviews and provide detailed defect reporting aligned with quality standards.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
Minimum 8 years experience in testing and automation within optical networking domains.
Proven experience certifying SONET/SDH/OTN/DWDM systems with knowledge of ROADM and optical amplifier line cards.
Hands-on with test equipment (test sets, Optical Spectrum Analyzers) and scripting/programming skills in Python, Perl, or similar languages.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in product development environments focused on optical network equipment integrated within optical nodes, including understanding FCAPS and optical controls for power management.
Capability to analyze system requirements and develop comprehensive test plans reflecting customer deployment scenarios.
Skilled in collaborating across design, architecture, and customer support teams to ensure thorough test coverage and address field escalations.
