Design and implement comprehensive test strategies and automation frameworks for Optical DWDM equipment and protocols including OTN, GBE, DWDM, and NBI interfaces.
Perform manual and automated testing across the testing lifecycle, focusing on protocol-based testing (FCAPS, NBI automation, system security) for Layer 0 and Layer 1 optical systems.
Drive continuous integration and testing practices to enhance system reliability, product quality, and accelerate high-quality releases.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in ECE, Computer Science, or EEE with strong academic performance.
Minimum 3 years of experience in embedded optical network element system testing involving OTN, Ethernet, GMPLS, DWDM, and NBI interfaces (CLI, NETCONF, RESTCONF, gRPC), plus system security.
Proficient in test planning, execution, defect tracking, and use of standard test management tools.
Strong programming skills in Python or similar language to develop and maintain test automation frameworks.
Demonstrated expertise in testing embedded optical network systems with hands-on experience in NBI protocols within embedded environments.
Experience working with next-generation operating systems incorporating microservices and containerization architectures.
Ability to translate system requirements into detailed, executable test plans and prioritize testing in collaboration with cross-functional teams for faster feature delivery.
