Configure and maintain domain mapping systems linking custom domains, subdomains, and short URLs to web applications and CDNs.
Manage web request routing to ensure secure, reliable, and fast traffic flow across server networks.
Update legacy routing configurations and scripts while troubleshooting complex network issues to maintain live production stability.
Minimum Requirements
2–5 years experience in network engineering, systems administration, or site reliability engineering focused on domain infrastructure.
Strong knowledge of DNS management, including configuring A, AAAA, CNAME, TXT, MX, NS records and managing domain registrars.
Understanding of core internet protocols (TCP/IP), web traffic flow, HTTP/HTTPS mechanics, and basic web security elements (CORS, HSTS).
Working knowledge of site architecture components such as microservices, load balancers, reverse proxies, and CDNs.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience maintaining and troubleshooting domain and network infrastructure in production environments involving web services.
Comfortable updating legacy systems and documentation to align with modern routing and security standards without disrupting live traffic.
Familiar with Internet protocols and network architecture to diagnose and solve complex routing and DNS issues efficiently.
