Java+Power BI Engineer

Develop and maintain scalable Java-based applications and microservices within payment processing systems.

Design and implement Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models for business and operational reporting in payments domain.

Leverage GenAI tools to enhance development productivity, automate reporting, and improve code quality in AI-assisted engineering initiatives.

5–10 years of software development experience with strong skills in Java 8+, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, SQL, Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines.

Strong expertise in Power BI including dashboard development, DAX, Power Query, data modelling, report optimization, and integration with databases like SQL Server, Oracle, Snowflake, or Azure.

Mandatory functional knowledge of Payments domain including payments processing, cards, payment gateways, settlement, reconciliation, SWIFT, ACH, transaction lifecycle, and BFSI operations.

Hands-on experience with GenAI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT) for code generation, review, documentation, report assistance, and productivity improvement.

Experienced in cross-functional roles encompassing Java application development, business intelligence, and payments domain expertise.

Comfortable working in BFSI/FIS environments driving AI-assisted transformation programs and agile delivery models.

Demonstrates practical implementation and possibly certifications in GenAI solutions and prompt engineering for software development and reporting enhancements.
