Principal Systems/Software Engineer

Lead design and development of backend micro-services for a multi-tenant SaaS networking platform focusing on high availability, scalability, and security.

Drive technical decisions and collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management and SRE to deliver reliable networking solutions.

Troubleshoot and optimize system performance; maintain documentation and champion development best practices including CI/CD and DevOps.

Minimum 15 years of professional software development experience, with significant focus on backend systems and distributed applications.

Must have expertise in networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP/S, DNS, NAT), network security, and cloud networking.

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container technologies (Kubernetes, Docker).

Role requires primary onsite presence at HPE office in India.

Senior engineer with deep domain expertise in carrier-grade networking solutions and SaaS/cloud native backend architectures.

Experience operating in collaborative, cross-functional product and engineering teams delivering large-scale distributed systems.

Strategic thinker capable of driving technical direction and problem-solving complex system-level network and cloud challenges.
