Senior Software Engineer, AVP

Lead design, development, testing, and debugging of large complex software solutions and enhancements, focusing on core frameworks critical to system operation.

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to senior engineers and drive problem solving for major project phases, ensuring high-quality deliverables.

Oversee Agile software development processes including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives, coordinating across teams for project completion.

Minimum 13 years of professional software engineering experience.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or related technical field; Master’s degree strongly preferred.

Experience with Spring Boot Microservices, cloud deployments, Kubernetes, Kafka, and message-based systems.

Minimum 5 years’ experience working in Agile development methodologies.

Financial services domain experience (Portfolio Management, Trading, Compliance, Post-Trade, IBOR, or Wealth Management) strongly desired but not strictly mandatory as per JD.

Experienced senior engineer with deep expertise in object-oriented programming, relational databases, low-latency high-performance systems, and modern dev practices (CI/CD, automation).

Proven ability to lead complex software architectural design and simplify business/technical problem solving at scale.

Familiarity with AI-assisted software development tools and demonstrated effective cross-team collaboration in Agile environments.
